No Nonsense Allowed!

“Nonsense - words or language having little or no sense or meaning. conduct, action, etc., that is senseless, foolish, or absurd: to have tolerated enough nonsense. impudent, insubordinate, or otherwise objectionable behavior”

How many times have we heard this expression? Whether telling it to your kids or being told yourself. This expression makes perfect sense when thinking about your own health happiness journey!

You wouldn’t allow any nonsense from your kiddos or yourself when doing something important would you? So why would you allow any nonsense to enter in your own health decisions that are vitally important to your own well-being?

You wouldn’t, right?

But unfortunately, we all do at sometime or another! We lose track of what is really important to us. We take the nonsense because we can’t make any “sense” of what is really happening. In our lives, in our families, in our workplaces, with our friends and with our own health.

When something doesn’t make any sense to us, we simply discard it, or ignore it because we don’t understand what it is all about in the first place. We throw away anything that doesn’t make sense to us without thinking about what and why it is?

Nonsense to us may make perfect sense to someone else. It all depends on how you look at it.

For Example: Someone choosing to go on a “Keto-genic” diet may make perfect sense to them and their lifestyle. But you may think it is utter nonsense for you to do in your own lifestyle. What works for one person may not work for another. That doesn’t make it “nonsense”, it just makes it different and not a choice for you!

Just because you may not understand how something works, doesn’t mean that is does not work. It just may not work for you. Does that make “sense” to you?

We often try to make sense of most everything happening in our lives. We fail at trying to understand why we let our health become such nonsense in the first place. How did I get to be 100 pounds overweight? It just doesn’t make any sense!

We all know how we let the nonsense take a hold of our lives, we just ignored it for so long, that eventually it began to make perfect sense. So why do we continually let all that nonsense into our lives? Because it is easier to believe that something that doesn’t make any sense is easier than facing the truth of what does make sense. Are we confused yet?

It’s like looking at these two puzzle pieces. We take a quick look and we know that the one piece isn’t going to fit into the other, but we try it anyway! It’s kinda like doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results each time.

We keep letting the nonsense into our lives. Change is not going to happen when we keep doing that! Time to kick that nonsense sorry ass out of our lives once in for all!
