Ingredients:
1 (16 oz.) Can Buttermilk biscuits. (Or (2) 8 oz.)
¾ Cup Sugar
1 T Cinnamon
¼ Cup Butter, melted
2 Medium Apples
½ Cup chopped Walnuts
¼ Cup Raisins
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a circle cake pan with non-stick spray.
Separate the biscuits into 20 pieces. Combine sugar & cinnamon into a bowl.
Dip the biscuits into the melted butter, then roll the pieces into the cinnamon - sugar mixture.
Arrange 15 biscuit pieces around the outer edge of the circle pan overlapping them into two rows. Overlap the remaining 5 pieces into the center of the pan.
Peel and thinly slice the apples. Place each slice between the biscuit pieces around the pan and the outer edge.
Mix the nuts and raisins with the remaining sugar/cinnamon mixture. (Make more if needed). Sprinkle them all over the top of the ring.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Remove and place on a rack to cool. Slice and serve warm.
