Ingredients:
6 large apples (any kind)
4 T butter (1/2 stick)
3 T Cinnamon
½ Cup brown sugar
¼ Cup flour
Egg Roll Wrappers
White Sugar (for sprinkling)
Vegetable Oil (for frying)
Directions:
Peel and then cut the apples into thin slices. Place in a large bowl.
Mix the cinnamon, brown sugar and flour together and add to the apples, stirring to combine.
Heat the 4 T butter into a large frying pan on the stove top. Once melted, add the apples and simmer on med-high heat for 15-20 minutes until tender, but not mushy.
Remove from stove and let cool.
Once cooled, place a large spoonful of the apple mixture into the center of an egg roll wrapper. Roll up and seal the edges together with water.
Heat the oil in the same frying pan. (add the oil to cover about ¼ way up the pan)
Fry the egg roll fritters about 3-4 minutes each side, until golden brown.
Remove to a paper towel lined plate and sprinkle with the white sugar.
Let cool and serve!
