Ingredients:
1 Cup sliced celery
1 Cup chopped carrots
1 Medium onion chopped
½ Cup butter
1 Cup Chicken or Turkey Broth
1 Cup apple juice
1 (14 oz.) package herb seasoned stuffing mix
2 Cups chopped Apple
1 Cup chopped Walnuts
Parsley for garnish
Directions:
In a large skillet, cook celery, carrots and onion in butter until tender.
In another pot, add the Broth and Apple juice and bring to a slow boil.
Add the stuffing mix and celery, carrot and onion mixture, and mix together.
Remove from heat and add the apple and walnuts.
Loosely stuff the turkey just before roasting. Place the remaining stuffing in a greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot.
**note** (If not stuffing the turkey, then just place all the stuffing mixture in a baking dish & bake.)
