Crockpot Morning Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Steel Cut Organic Oats

  • 2 1/2 Cups Water

  • 1 large Apple, chopped into small pieces

  • 5 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup

  • 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon

  • 1 T Pumpkin Pie Spice (you can make your own!)


Directions:

  1. Add the oats and water to your crockpot.

  2. Cut up your apple into small pieces. Add the apple, syrup, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice to the oatmeal. Stir until well combined.

  3. Set the crockpot on low for 2-2/12 hours. Stir and enjoy!

  4. Refrigerate leftovers.


    Here is the pumpkin pie spice recipe:

    Ingredients:

    • 3 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon

    • 1 1/2 teaspoons Ground Allspice

    • 2 teaspoons Ground Ginger

    • 1 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cloves

    • 2 teaspoons Nutmeg

    Directions:

    1. Combine all ingredients together and mix well.

    2. Store in air-tight container and stir before using.
