(I have made this in the oven - Easy Peasy in the Crock Pot!) Ingredients: 1 bag of frozen cheese ravioli (28 oz) (or Fresh!) 1 lb. of ground beef
1 15 oz. container of ricotta cheese
1 egg 1 can of crushed tomatoes (28 oz each) 1 tablespoon of Italian Seasoning 1 tablespoon of Garlic Salt 4 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese ¼ cup parmesan cheese
Directions: 1) In a large bowl combine the ground beef and tomatoes until thoroughly mixed together.
2) Stir in the seasonings.
3) Mix the egg into the ricotta cheese with 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
4) In a 6-quart crock pot, cover the bottom with some of the hamburger sauce. 5) Place a layer of ravioli across the bottom, then place a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture and top with some of the mozzarella cheese. Continue this until all the meat sauce and the ravioli is used. You want to end with the meat sauce on top. Approx. 2-3 layers depending on your crockpot size. 6) Top with mozzarella cheese. 7) Cook on low for 4 hours.
8) Turn off and let it sit for about 15 minutes before you scoop and serve.
