Ingredients:
24 oz. Steak, cut into 1-inch cubes (Sirloin, Strip, Porterhouse or Ribeye)
2 T Olive Oil, divided
¼ Cup Butter (1/2 stick)
6 cloves garlic, chopped
Home-made Cajun Seasoning: (Or 3 T ready-made)
1 tablespoon paprika
1 ½ tsp kosher salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
¼ tsp ground white pepper
1 ½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp cayenne pepper
(Mix all spices together)
Directions:
Combine the Cajun Seasoning into a bowl and add the steak cubes. Toss to evenly coat.
Heat one Tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over high heat until hot.
Sear the steak cubes in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until edges are browned. (use more oil if necessary) Set Aside.
Reduce heat to medium and add the butter to the pan until melted. Sauté the chopped garlic until cooked, stirring frequently.
Remove the pan from the heat and add the steak cubes back to the pan with the garlic tossing thru to coat evenly.
