Ingredients:
2 Cups finely crushed graham crackers (about 30 squares)
1/3 Cup melted butter plus 2 Tablespoons
3 Tablespoons sugar
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium sized bowl, stir in all the ingredients until well combined.
Press the crumb mixture firmly and evenly against the bottom and sides of the 9 inch glass pie plate.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until light brown. Cool completely on a cooling rack. Fill as directed in your favorite pie recipe.
** Note** You can use the following in place of graham crackers:
For a cookie crumb crust: Substitute 1 1/2 cups of finely crushed chocolate wafer cookies (24 cookies). Use Vanilla wafer cookies (35 cookies) or Gingersnap cookies (30 cookies).
Decrease the butter to 1/4 cup and omit the sugar for these cookie crusts.
