Ingredients:
5 cups tortilla chips
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. ground turkey
1 1-ounce packet Old El Paso Taco Seasoning
2 10 oz. cans mild diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
1 15 oz. jar Salsa Con Queso
1/2 cup diced onion
2 cups Mexican blend cheese
1 15 oz. jar roasted garlic salsa (or regular flavor)
sour cream for garnish
Directions:
Heat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef and turkey over medium high heat. Stir in the taco seasoning and stir to coat. When almost browned, toss in the diced tomatoes & chilies and stir to combine. Remove from heat and set aside.
Place the chips on the parchment paper lined, cookie sheet.
Sprinkle the beef & turkey mixture and onions on top of the nachos.
Top with the Mexican blend cheese and bake until heated and the cheese has melted. Approx. 10-15 minutes.
Take out of the oven and spread the Salsa Con Queso over the top. Serve with the roasted garlic salsa and sour cream.
