Ingredients:
· 4 T Butter (room temperature)
· 1 Cup All-Purpose flour
· 1 Cup Sugar
· 1 T Baking powder
· ½ Cup light cream or whole milk
· 2 Cans Sliced Peaches
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In a bowl, combine the butter, flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add milk and stir.
3. Pour batter into a square 8 x 10 or rectangular greased baking pan.
4. Place the sliced peaches over the batter.
5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until browned and bubbly.
6. Remove and let cool for 5 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
7. Top with whipping cream if desired. Keep refrigerated.
