Ingredients:
Prime Rib "Bone-In" Roast
1 stick Butter, softened
Himalayan pink salt (or regular)
Seasoning Mixture:
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
2 tablespoons dried minced garlic
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
Rest your Roast @ room temperature for at least 6 hours! (So important!) (Make sure you get a “bone-in” roast)
Make the spread: Combine the softened butter with the spices (excluding the salt) and then coat the entire roast with the spread.
Completely cover it with Salt. (I love Pink Himalayan Salt)- do not skimp!
Place the roast in a 500 degree F preheated oven for - your exact roast weight x 5 = cooking time. For Example: Roast weight - 6.22lbs. x 5 = 31 minutes at 500 degrees. (round up to nearest minute)
When cooking time is up, turn off oven, leave roast in the oven, and DO NOT OPEN or even look at it for another 2 hours only. After 2 hours, take it out. (no need to rest!)
