Ingredients:
1 stick butter
1 Green Bell Pepper, sliced
1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced
1 Large Vidalia Onion, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 T all-purpose seasoning
2 (12 roll) packages of sweet rolls (24 rolls total)
1 1/2 lbs. sliced deli Roast Beef
12 slices provolone cheese
Dipping Sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
3 T hot sauce, or to your liking
1 tsp. chili seasoning or blackened seasoning
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large skillet, melt 3 T butter on medium heat. Add the peppers, onions and minced garlic. Cook until tender. Set aside.
To a small microwave bowl add the remaining butter and microwave on high 1 minute, or until melted. Add the seasoning and stir to combine.
Keeping the rolls attached, slice in half horizontally. Place the bottom half of the rolls on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Using a pastry brush, slather the rolls with 1/2 of the melted butter mixture.
Top with the peppers, onions and garlic mixture.
Next, layer the Roast Beef slices on top.
Top the roast beef with the provolone cheese slices. (6 on each side)
Add the top half of the buns and slather with the rest of the butter mixture.
Bake 15-20 minutes, until heated through and the cheese has melted.
Let cool slightly and slice the buns to serve.
Mix the dipping sauce together until well combined and serve on the side.
