Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
2 Carrots, chopped
1 onion, chopped (1 cup)
1 jar (4.5 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 Can Sloppy joe sauce
¼ Cup water
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz. egg noodles, cooked and drained *
Directions:
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef or turkey; cook, stirring occasionally, until just starting to brown.
Add carrots, onion and mushrooms. Cover; cook stirring occasionally, until beef is no longer pink, and vegetables are tender, 10 – 12 minutes.
Add sauce and ¼ cup water; cook, uncovered, until heated through, about 2 minutes.
Add shredded cheddar cheese and mix.
Serve over egg noodles.
