Ingredients:
1 Cup butter, melted
1 ¼ Cups granulated sugar, (¼ cup reserved)
½ Cup light brown sugar, packed
3 ½ Cups all-purpose flour
2 (16 oz.) containers fresh Strawberries
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Slice the strawberries and mix in ¼ cup sugar. Set Aside.
Line a 9” square baking pan with parchment paper.
Whisk butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar together until well mixed.
Add flour and stir to combine until the mixture is crumbly. Set aside 1 cup of the mixture to use as a topping.
Press the remainder of the crumbled mixture into the parchment paper lined pan and press firmly to pack it down.
Add the strawberries evenly over the crust.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of the crumbled mixture over the strawberries.
Bake for 40-45 minutes. Let cool for 1-2 hours before serving.
*note* Try with fresh Blueberries or mixed berries too!
