Ingredients:
· 2 lbs. ground beef
. 1 lb. ground Sausage or Pork
· 1 15 oz. can kidney beans · 1 15 oz. can butter beans · 1 28 oz. can baked beans · 1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes · 1 medium onion, chopped
. 4 garlic cloves, minced
· 3 T brown sugar · 2 T unsweetened cocoa · 1 T chili seasoning (make your own - under the dressings & seasonings tab!) · 2 tsp. ground cumin · Salt, pepper · 4 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, reserved for topping
Directions:
1. In 8-quart slow cooker, combine beef, sausage or pork, beans, crushed tomatoes, onion and garlic.
2. In a separate bowl combine brown sugar, cocoa, chili seasoning, cumin, salt and black pepper. Stir together. Sprinkle into the crock pot and combine all the ingredients, breaking up the ground beef and sausage or pork. Replace lid and cook on Low for 6 hours.
3. When ready to serve, top with Cheddar Cheese.
