What are you thankful for?



… I’m thankful for…

All of it. The highs. The lows. The blessings. The lessons. The setbacks. The comebacks. Everything.

A new year is fast approaching, and it’s got me thinking about this past year, about this coming year and what I am thankful for. Thankful for the past year and excited and thankful for this new year to come!

Has it been a struggle at times, heck yes! Has it been hard to stay on track with my health happiness journey during the holiday seasons? Heck, yes! Has it been rewarding and inspirational? Heck, yes! Have I been happy and fulfilled on my journey? Heck, Yes and Heck, No! At times I just wanted to quit this whole health happiness, weight loss journey and go back to my old ways, I won’t lie. But then I think about how far I have come on this journey myself and with my daughter, and how proud I am of all our accomplishments. How proud I am of who we are becoming as healthier people (both mentally and physically). How comfortable we now are in our lives. And the celebration is just beginning all over again with a new year!

Thankful, Grateful, Blessed. The Christmas season has ended, but that doesn’t mean that the meaning of Christmas has to end. It should thrive in all of us all year long! A new year is fast approaching, are you ready? A year is coming to an end, are you ready?
